Kim Kardashian: My Marriage to Kris Humphries Was No Fraud!

Mason's mama slams rumors about sister Kim's marriage, while the pregnant star clarifies her separation status

Kim Kardashian is joyously pregnant with Kanye West's baby.

But as she's still finalizing her divorce from former flame Kris Humphries, David Letterman took the opportunity to talk to the E! star about her relationships when she stopped by The Late Show show with sis Kourtney Kardashian last night.

The hot topic on the table? Kim's drawn-out divorce proceedings: she filed for divorce from the Brooklyn Nets basketball star in Oct. 2011 after 72 days of marriage, but the former couple have yet to finalize their split. To her credit, Kim spoke candidly about their current separation status:

Kim calls Kanye West the "love of my life"

After confirming that she is, indeed, still married, Letterman questioned Kim, asking when she's going to "wrap up" the process:

"Well, I'm trying, and it's a process…I've been trying for almost two years now, um, to wrap it up, but it's, you know, it's hard," the E! star replied.

"What does Mr. Humphries—I guess it's none of my business—but what does he want? Does he want his own show?," Letterman asked.

"I can't speak for Kris, but I just want him to be happy and I want us to move on, and that's really what I want, is just to move on," the mama-to-be stated.

Kim continued, confirming that her former hubby wants an annulment and explaining why this complicates the dissolution of their marriage:

"I don't really know ‘cause even if we got an annulment—I would love to give him one but then that would make—the only legal way to get an annulment is if fraud were involved, so that's what's tricky. So he is suing me for an annulment based on the fact that I frauded him into marrying him for publicity," Kim explained.

"Oh, so he's claiming that he was a victim of fraud," Letterman clarified.

"Yes, well, that's the only way to get an annulment is if one person was frauded, so that was the case," Kim replied.

"But fraud was not a factor here, is that right?" the talk-show host questioned.

"Not in my case, no," she insisted.

Cue big sis Kourtney, who came to Kim's defense to slam those fraudulent rumors:

"I think if she was going to do it for publicity, she'd pick someone that people knew."

Ouch.

Despite the lengthy divorce process, the first-time-mama-to-be is happier than ever with beau Kanye West, whom she gushed over to Letterman and said he is the "funniest person" she knows.

Way to stay positive, Kim!
