In case you hadn't noticed, it's Earth Week at E! We've been celebrating all things eco-friendly in Hollywood through our Green Is Universal initiative.

So, how do some of our favorite celebs go green?

"My house is solar-paneled," Ashley Tisdale recently told us. "I was building my house from scratch and me and my father were talking about doing solar panels because I like to do my part in any way that I can."

"We're big recyclers around the house," Vampire Diaries beauty Kat Graham dished. "Anything that you think might not be recyclable, really think about it before you throw it out. I think recycling is a huge thing. It's s important. It's easy and that's what's so important about it."

Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland says, "I try to keep the lights off when possible. I recycle a lot. Every bottle, every can we go take to the recycling center. Make sure that it's recycled."

Cute couple Rumer Willis and Jayson Blair are putting their green thumbs to good use. "She has a garden," Blair told us at the GLAAD Media Awards.

"I'd always wanted to try and have a garden, just to see if I could do it," Willis explained. "I tried a little bit last year and I was actually able to grow watermelon and strawberries and onions. I tried to grow corn. I don't know what I was thinking. It was great. I loved it. And it's nice when you get to eat something that you've grown."

Blair added, "We stay pretty green as it is. We have an alkaline water machine at home so no water bottles at home. We take our own water wherever we go."

"I drive a Prius," Former Kyle XY actor Matt Dallas says. "My biggest little tip that I do is turning off the water when I'm like soaping off in the shower...when you think about how much water you waste when you're soaping off. That's what I do."

Ray Liotta also tries to conserve water. "I only flush my toilet like at night just once even though I have like seven or eight trips," he said.

As for his The Iceman costar Winona Ryder? "I actually try to [be green] every day, whether it's composting to, you know, just being aware of turning the lights off and turning everything off and just being aware there's so much, there's so much that people can do with sustainability and, you know, the environment."

"Have real water bottles," advises former Broadway star and current NCIS: Los Angeles actor Barrett Foa. "I feel like in New York, that caught on years ago and in L.A. no one carries their own water bottle and it's so silly. Use a reusable water bottle. That's my big thing."

L.A. transplant Andrew Rannells says moving here from NYC has taught him to go green. "The city of Los Angeles takes recycling very seriously, so I feel like I've learned a lot just by living in California. I feel like recycling laws are much stricter than a lot of other cities that I've lived in. It's been great. It's really rubbing off on me."
