Mark Wahlberg paid POTUS a visit!
In between promotional stops for his latest flick, Pain & Gain, Mark stopped by the White House this week. The actor was there to discuss youth empowerment and reducing school dropout rates.
Although it is unclear if the star spoke directly with President Obama, the actor's stop at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue came just hours after he visited T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria, Va., where he urged students to stay in school. Wahlberg himself dropped out, but is now working on getting his diploma.
"If my career goes south, I'm working at McDonald's. I'm driving a tow truck," he said. "That's why I'm going back to high school."
With two summer blockbusters on the horizon and an Entourage movie in the works, he shouldn't have to worry about slinging burgers any time soon.
