Talk about a stone cold fox!

At a Cardboard Citizens charity gala event in London on Saturday, Kate Winslet perched a hard-to-miss snow fox atop her head.

So, why did the Brit babe accessorize her black-and-white outfit with the humorous headgear? We're guessing she was really thrilled about embracing the event's "secret beauty " theme. After all, when paired with her sequined face mask, Winslet's furry friend is definitely one, ahem, sly fox when it comes to obscuring the Oscar-winning actress' identity.

And we couldn't help but giggle over the cute way the little creature gripped Winslet's glittering eye mask, while rocking coordinating ear sequins of his own. Plus, we love how the fox's furry elongated body and fabulously fluffy tail make a fancy ‘do completely unnecessary—note Winslet's laid back loose strands.

The curious topper comes from Natalie Ellner, who is also behind the feathered fascinator Winslet wore when receiving a CBE honor from Queen Elizabeth II. According to The Telegraph, the star commissioned the designer to create animal themed toppers for her family, including looks called the Prince Badger and Snow Bunny.

Here's hoping it's not too long before we spot Winslet rocking the bunny or badger!
