Paul Walker's family was able to view the fallen actor's final film before it hit theaters everywhere.

E! News can confirm that close relatives gathered at a theater in La Cañada Flintridge, Calif. for a screening of Hours.

And while it's understandably a terribly difficult time for the Walkers, we're told that they did enjoy seeing the Fast and the Furious star's work on the big screen.

"His family was very stoic," a rep for Hours told us. "But they enjoyed the film and had a really lovely evening."

There was one notable family member who did not attend the screening, Paul's teenage daughter Meadow.

According to the rep, both Meadow and Paul's father had already seen the flick at this year's South by Southwest Film Festival.

E! News learned on Wednesday that Walker's remains will be cremated and a private service, to be attended only by family members, will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills.

Walker's ashes will be interred at the cemetery.

But that won't be the only memorial taking place this weekend. Another private gathering is being held for family and friends at an as-yet undisclosed location in addition to the service. The larger gathering will still be invitation-only with no media or press being allowed in.

Last Sunday, thousands of fans packed the site where Walker and friend and business partner Roger Rodas were killed Nov. 30 in a single-car crash for a public memorial.
