Queen Elizabeth II is just like us!

Just because she's arguably the world's most famous royal doesn't mean she can't enjoy a little public transportation now and then.

The 87-year-old decided to take the Cambridgeshire Guided Bus earlier today while on her way to the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge.

Earlier this month, her majesty paid a visit to Headley Court in Surrey, Britain's top rehabilitation center. The queen met with young British soldiers who were severely injured in the line of duty during their time in Afghanistan.

She toured the newly refurbished facility alongside Prince Philip and watched amputee patients during their physical therapy routines with their artificial limbs.

She's definitely a queen of the people!
