Lauren Conrad Wedding Prep in Full Swing: See the Bridesmaids' Dresses She Designed Herself!

Look at all the shades of blush and bashful!

Lauren Conrad has lined up nine of the nearest and dearest ladies in her life to be bridesmaids at her upcoming nuptials—and while some brides-to-be are content with a general "pick out something black" when it comes to dressing their wedding parties, that is obviously not L.C.'s style.

In fact, in addition to designing the dresses that her pals will be wearing when she ties the knot with William Tell in the near future, Conrad has started her own line of bridesmaid dresses, all of them styles fit to be worn after the I-dos as well.

A sampling of the styles from her Paper Crown Bridesmaids collection were on display on Martha Stewart Weddings' website, modeled by five members of her own bridal party.

"I sent them all the different shapes and let them pick from two colors," she explained to the mag. "I don't mind if there are a few girls in the same dress, or if people are all in different ones. It's too difficult to take a group of girls and put them in the same color and silhouette; everyone has their own style."

For her own personal color palette, Conrad went super-neutral, choosing fabrics in various nude- and rose-toned hues that will compliment a range of complexions. 

"They're all wearing the same two colors, so it's all the same color scheme," she said. "I don't think it needs to look too cohesive. They're all individuals, so it's nice that it doesn't look too uniform."

The author and former star of The Hills said that she sent her various pals "Will you be my bridesmaid?" cards along with rose gold necklaces made specially by Kohl's.

Meanwhile, Conrad says that she's cool with her bridesmaids styling their hair any which way they want, but she's thinking of putting together a little gift bag with nude and light pink polishes so that all the colors mesh.

"Yeah, that might actually be a good call because some of my friends will probably have navy or dark nails!" she said.

Conrad herself pulled bridesmaid duty at the wedding of pal and Paper Crown co-founder Maura McManus and groom David Oehm two weekends ago in Ojai, Calif.

She wore a long, sleeveless off-white dress, while bestie and fellow bridesmaid Lo Bosworth scored a strapless number in a matching shade.

Meanwhile, Conrad is keeping the details about her own wedding dress very hush-hush. In a speculative piece last week, Brides wondered if the answer was staring us all right in the face: A custom collaboration between the bride herself and Vera Wang, the celeb designer whose name is synonymous with weddings and like Conrad does a collection for Kohl's.
