Directions aren't really Sarah Palin's strong suit…

And while that should come as no surprise to anyone, she did think Russia was in her backyard after all, this latest flub hits a little too close to home.

The former vice-presidential nominee was making a speech late last week at an FRC Action event, where she made one memorable flub regarding—what else?—the White House!

And word to the wise: When attempting to insult the president, be sure to get all the facts straight.

Palin opened up her speech antagonizing the current administration, saying, "Don't retreat. You reload with truth, which I know is an endangered species at 1400 Pennsylvania Avenue, anyway, truth…the media's favorite president. He just can't stop telling lies.

1400 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Just for the record, no such address exists. U.S. History 101 will tell you that Barack Obama currently resides at the White House, at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, which has been there since the beginning of time the 1800s.

Palin's speech continued to poke fun at POTUS, specifically pointing out his "latte salute" to Marines, which was captured in a photo at the beginning of last week.

"Our honored military, when we talk about these nationals security issues, our honored military. On behalf of all Americans who do support you and we honor you. We respect you. On behalf of all Americans who feel like I do, to your commander in chief, well we then will salute him."

She then pulled out a Styrofoam cup—like the one Obama had in his hand in the photo—and waved it in the air, adding that he "still hasn't learned how to salute our marines."
