Can you believe it has been a year already?!

Savannah Guthrie kicked off daughter Vale Guthrie Feldman's 1st birthday bright and early Thursday morning, posting adorable photos of her baby when she was first born.

The Today show co-host posted an up-close picture of her then-newborn and picture of herself holding baby Vale for what presumably is the first time! "I believe in love at first sight," Guthrie captioned the pics, adding, "Happy Birthday, Vale!"

Mike Feldman's wife was busy preparing for her daughter's big milestone Wednesday night, as she also took to Instagram to post a picture of all of the tools she was working with to celebrate. With pink sparkling sugar, candles, sparklers and edible writing gel all on display, it looks like Vale is going to get one heck of a birthday cake!

"This. ‪#‎Vale ‪#‎one ‪#‎baking," she captioned.

Guthrie was all smiles on-air Thursday morning when she FaceTimed Feldman and baby Vale! Although Vale couldn't say much—she is only 1!—her adorable squeals more than made up for it. Guthrie has also documented her daughter's first year of life on her Instagram, including images from their mommy-daughter dance parties to Vale's crawling.

Vale, who was born weighing 8.5 lbs. and measuring 19.5 inches, has certainly grown up quite a bit! Guthrie, 43, and Feldman, 46, were overwhelmed with joy by the arrival of their little girl. Before she was born, however, Guthrie was nervous she would face fertility struggles due to her age.

"I'm 42 years old, and I honestly didn't know if I'd ever get this chance," she wrote on her Today baby blog at the time.

"I've never been more thankful, or felt more blessed from above. I know how lucky I am," she added. "For a long time, I think I was afraid to even let myself think about how much I hoped to one day have a baby."

But a baby was what she wanted and a baby was what she got!

Happy birthday, Vale!
