Kids aren't always happy to find out that their days as on only child are coming to an end, but this little guy is beyond excited about his mom's pregnancy news!
Sarah Bromby, a U.K. mom, posted a video to Facebook of her son Ethan's adorable reaction to learning he's going to be a big brother. In the clip, which has been shared over 18,000 times since last Friday, Ethan can hardly believe there's a baby in his mama's belly!
When Sarah first hands Ethan an ultrasound photo, he thinks it might be him. When mom explains, though, that it's actually a new baby, Ethan squeals with delight.
"Is it in your belly?" he asks, which is all the more precious thanks to his British accent. "Just now? Is it?"
Sarah reassures him that there is a baby in there, explaining that it's still really tiny right now. This excites Ethan, who happily exclaims, "I'm gonna be a new big brother!"
But then, a look of worry comes across his face. "I hope you're not joking," he says seriously.
Mom promises she's telling the truth, and Ethan wants to know more. Is it rumbling? Can he see it? And—here's the big question—Ethan asks his mom how she made the baby!
"Me and Andy made it," she says.
"Why you made it?" he inquires.
"Um, because we did," says Sarah. She doesn't seem to think this is the time to have the birds and the bees talk, though, so she quickly changes the topic. "You're going to be a big brother," she reminds her son.
That buys mom some time, because Ethan goes right back to cheering joyously about his big brother status!
