Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are $440,000 richer after settling a lawsuit over the rapper's lavish proposal.

In 2013, the rapper surprised his then-girlfriend with a massive private party at AT&K Park, home of the San Francisco Giants baseball team, where he proposed to her in front of her family and friends. While the happy moment was filmed for an official online video as well as for Keeping Up With the Kardashians, amateur video of it made its way to video websites such as YouTube and several media outlets.

The couple sued YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley, whose new website MixBit's logo was seen on the fuzzy footage. They alleged that he "tagged along with someone who was invited" to the party and was allowed to stay after signing a confidentiality agreement, which prohibiting him from posting videos or images. They sought unspecified damages for alleged breach of contract, fraud and unjust enrichment.

E! News learned on Thursday that the case was settled, with a $440,000 payday for Kardashian and West. Hurley has not commented.

"My clients brought this case because they take confidentiality agreements seriously," Kardashian and West's lawyer told E! News exclusively. "We are gratified that California's trial and appellate courts upheld all our claims in this matter.  With Mr. Hurley's settlement payment, we believe a fair and just outcome has been achieved."

Kardashian is currently expecting her and West's second child, a baby boy. She and the rapper married in Italy in 2014. A $440,000 settlement would cover a little more than 15 percent of their lavish wedding, which cost an estimated $2.8 million.
