Bristol Palin isn't changing the name she picked out for her future daughter just because another celebrity mom used it first—sorry, Kristin Cavallari.
Sarah Palin's daughter, who is currently pregnant with her second child, announced her baby girl-to-be's name on Instagram Monday. Bristol, 25, shared a photo of two items baring a "Sailor" monogram—her visual proof, perhaps, that she'd decided on the moniker before Kristin and Jay Cutler announced their little girl's name was Saylor (different spelling).
Bristol also posted a caption, which read: "when you find out @kristincavallari named her baby the exact name you are naming yours...what a weird coincidence..."
She congratulated the former The Hills star "on your new bundle," adding, "I do love her name...Still naming my baby girl Sailor!"
Odds are Sailor and Saylor won't end up in the same play group anyway, for what it's worth.
A few Instagram commenters pointed out Bristol's choice for her little girl's name was a variation of baby Cutler's. One even said Bristol's "spelling [of the name] is the trashy version," to which she responded, "Hahahaha ya exactly....Trailer trash for sure honey."
Hey now, to each their own. Besides, Christie Brinkley's daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook, uses the -or spelling, and Liv Tyler's daughter Sailor Gene Gardner does as well.
What's in a name anyway?
