Another ex is back in Stars Hollow!
Milo Ventimiglia is set to reprise the role of Jess Mariano in Netflix's highly anticipated Gilmore Girls revival, E! News has learned. The Heroes star played Rory's (Alexis Bledel) second love Jess, whom she dated in seasons 2-3, and he made his last appearance on the show in season six.
Ventimiglia's involvement comes just after it was revealed Matt Czuchry will return as Logan, Rory's college boyfriend, for the four-episode limited series.

While no details surrounding Jess' return have been revealed, Ventimiglia had an idea of what his character might be up to when E! News asked him at the ATX TV Festival last June, telling us "I think Jess is out being Jess, walking away when too many people show up." As for whether he thinks Jess and Rory were meant to be, he admitted he's "Team Dean."
Netflix declined to comment on Ventimiglia's casting, series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino said fans can expect to see several (or all) of Rory's ex-boyfriends pop up.
"Our plan is to get as many of [Rory's] lovely men back as possible," she told TVLine, but admitted there might be some issues in terms of finalizing deals. "We're still dealing with who's going to be in it. We definitely want to see them. And we have storylines planned. I just need someone to tell me they're going to show up."
Palladino did confirm to TVLine though that Rory is not married and she is "dating like any young woman with that face would be."
Confirmed to take part in the currently-untitled reunion series are Bledel, Lauren Graham, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson, as well as Keiko Agena and Sean Gunn.
