She can perform on the Billboard Music Awards hanging from the ceiling, but when it comes to talking to her celebrity crush Johnny Depp, Pink simply can't do it.
"Him and Michael Keaton," she admitted to Jimmy Kimmel. "I can't do it. Beetlejuice just gets me every time."
While she's been married on and off to her husband Carey Hart since 2006, that won't stop the 36-year-old songstress from gushing over the actor like a teenage schoolgirl. While it seems like Pink would rather crawl under a rock than speak face to face with Depp, the moment finally came when her husband forced her to confront him while shopping.
"I didn't want to meet him. My husband made me meet him, which was so dumb," she described. "I was hiding behind records in a record store and I was like, 'Don't do this. I don't want to meet him."
Despite her misgivings, Pink faced him and tried to start a conversation by talking about the upcoming film, Alice Through the Looking Glass, which Depp acts in and she sings for on the soundtrack. However, Depp mistook her conversation about Alice, the film for Alice Cooper, the rock star.
"I don't think it went well," she declared. "I don't feel like I nailed it."
Unfortunately for the star, but fortunately for everyone watching, Kimmel arranged for Depp to surprise her on the set for a second chance to "nail it." She immediately was flustered by his appearance and couldn't muster up any conversation beyond a few words. Simply, she was all of us after spotting our teenage crush by our locker. After he walked offstage, Pink was visibly blushing.
"Go away. That was awful," she said with frustration. "That sucks. I hate you. I hate you."
"You just turned the color of your hair," Kimmel quipped about her bright pink locks.
"This is the worst day ever," she proclaimed.
