The gorgeous blond turns 39 today, and although her hilarious roles on Mom and in the Scary Movie flicks deserve plenty of recognition, we thought Faris has earned yet another special shout-out for her awesome parenting skills.
Alongside hubby Chris Pratt, Faris has been extremely busy raising their 3-year-old son Jack (who is totally a spitting image of his mama!). But unlike most first-time parents who opt to only share the glossiest moments of child-rearing, the Pratt-Faris fam keeps it real.
From coloring on walls to potty training accidents, Faris knows exactly when to lay down the law and when to let her little man get wild. Check out the 12 times this birthday girl was the absolute best mom on the block:
The family that selfies together, stays together! And with a rambunctious toddler in tow, it's not easy to get the perfect shot on the first try. Anna joked on Twitter, "You can tell by our faces that I've been trying to take this felfie for a while #hatwearinfamily."

"Potty training is going so great! I'm a natural!" the actress sarcastically tweeted of Jack's outside accident. Not to worry, Anna! When you gotta go, you gotta go. (And we imagine the millions of moms who have gone through this appreciated the moment of solidarity.)
Faris' hubby has nothing but incredible things to say about his leading lady and co-parent. "I think we're a good team," Pratt gushed to E! News. "We keep each other grounded. I like to be right by her side in her success and she feels the same way with me. It's nice to have somebody next to you that can experience this stuff with you." Aww!

During an interview with Health magazine, Anna offered the most heartwarming story about what makes her happiest. "Chris and I took Jack to the train museum. There were paparazzi, but we were just like, 'It's an odd thing that's happening, but let's not stress or stress Jack out.' At one point, Chris turned to me and said, 'I don't think I've ever been happier in my whole life.' And I felt the same way."
