Everyone, and we mean everyone including Meagan Good, is going short this season!
Hollywood has been bombarded by the popular pixie cut thanks to trendsetters like Jennifer Lawrence, Kristin Chenoweth, Nicky Whelan, Pamela Anderson and Jennifer Hudson, and Good is the latest gal to jump on the bandwagon.
We spotted the beauty in a chic black dress featuring a plunging neckline at the GQ Men of the Year party last night, and stopped her in her tracks to get the scoop on her bold new ‘do.
"I just needed the freedom. I just needed to do something that was liberating and something that I felt like had a little bit of an attitude. I'm doing what I wanted to do!" she told E! News' Ali Fedotowsky of her decision to chop it all off.
She explains that she eased her way into the cropped style first, keeping the top long, but the sides short, and then finally went for the plunge and is totally embracing her look.
We love that confidence!
As for her thoughts on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire's J. Law's short locks, Good was fully supportive of the star's haircut, too.
"I think she can do both [long and short hair.] She has such a pretty face and an amazing body," she commented sweetly of the actress.
One thing's for sure, pixie power appears to be in full force right now.
