The rumors are true: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are planning to tie the knot in France, E! News confirms. Friends and family have already been given a tentative time frame for the most anticipated event of the year. "Save-the-dates haven't gone out in a traditional sense," the source explains. "It's been word of mouth so far—nothing on paper. But everyone has started making travel arrangements."

As one might expect, West has provided plenty of input. "Kanye is definitely running the show. The wedding will reflect his taste and style. Kim is on board," the source says. "That means no more Vera Wang or giant crosses—Kanye would never. It's about high style and high fashion, taste, elegance."

That's not the only shocker. Unlike Kardashian's August 2011 wedding to Kris Humphries, this wedding will be more intimate. "I think people will be surprised by the size," the source says. "It's not going to be as massive as everyone thinks. It won't be a tiny affair, but there won't be 1,000 people either."

Indeed, during her Vogue cover story, the bride revealed that the guest list features fewer names than people might expect. "People are probably assuming we're going to have this massive wedding and I think that it will be—but intimate," the reality star said. "Two hundred people—just all of our closest friends—a special night for us and all the people that really love us and that have supported us."

Kardashian, 33, has yet to reveal which designer she will wear when she marries West, 36. She did, however, drop a few hints during her recent trip to Paris. "The clothes Kim has been wearing all week—Balmain, Givenchy—are very indicative of what you'll see at the wedding," the source tells E! News exclusively. "She's knows she's being photographed and she's sending a clear message."
