Adam Levine is a total creep—in Maroon 5's "Animals" music video, that is!

In the seriously creepy clip, the Voice coach plays a disturbed butcher obsessed with his real life wife, Behati Prinsloo. In the video, though, the Victoria's Secret Angel is unaware that a stalker is, as the lyrics say, "preying" on her day and night.

Levine's infatuation with the blond beauty begins when she purchases a cut of meat from the butcher shop where he works. From that moment on, he follows her, hiding in the shadows, and takes countless, invasive photos of the woman who is almost completely unaware of his existence.

A hook-wielding, blood-covered Levine hangs on a hook alongside the other slabs of meat in a freezer and undresses as he sings, "Maybe you think that you can hide/ I can smell your scent from miles/ Just like animals."

Prinsloo carries on in her apartment, wearing only lingerie as she smokes a cigarette—totally oblivious to the fact that Levine is photographing her every move through the window. He sneaks inside, too, watching her and taking photos as she sleeps on satin sheets.

Levine later follows her out to a club, slinking in behind her. When he gets up the nerve to smile at her, she brushes off his advances, effectively ignoring him. At this point, the Maroon 5 frontman fantasizes about the two of them naked together having sex in her bed, then making out in the nude as gallons of blood pours upon them.

Ew. So, does Prinsloo discover she's the object of Levine's lustful (and disturbing!) dreams?! Watch and see for yourself.
