It's like it's 1992 all over again and we're eight years old watching Aladdin, obsessing over Jasmine's triple-bumped hair, crushing on Aladdin the hunky diamond in the rough and wishing desperately for a prince to take us on a magic carpet ride even though it's probably super dangerous.

But more than anything, we wanted to have a voice like Lea Salonga, who is and always will be the original (singing) voice of Princess Jasmine. And 22 years later, she can still nail the crap out of "A Whole New World."

Salonga, who won a Tony Award for her role in Miss Saigon, is currently traveling the world with the opera supergroup Il Divo for their "A Musical Affair" tour, and apparently the Oscar-winning song is part of their act. Trust us, "A Whole New World" will still give you goose bumps, thanks in most part to the Filipina beauty and her angelic voice.

For comparison, you can watch Salonga, who was also the voice of Mulan, and Brad Kane's (Aladdin's singing voice) original 1992 recording session below:

And now it's going to be a Disney day on Spotify for us. How about you?
