Gladiators have a big reason to celebrate today.

Scandal star Kerry Washington is expecting her second child with husband Nnamdi Asomugha, two sources confirm to E! News exclusively. The actress' baby bump was on display when she attended the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in Washington, D.C., over the weekend. Washington is also expected to walk the red carpet tonight at the 2016 Met Gala.

Kerry's happy news comes as the proud parents continue to raise daughter Isabelle away from the public eye.

At the same time, the Hollywood couple has been open about how parenthood has changed them for the better.

"I will say I feel really, really blessed," Kerry gushed to the Los Angeles Times in one of her first interviews after welcoming a child. "I just feel really blessed that I'm kind of living extraordinary dreams come true in my work life and in my personal life."

When talking to close friend Jimmy Kimmel late at night, the actress also tried to play it cool when discussing the joys of motherhood.

"Life is really great," she shared. "You know, little girl at home, it's great."

Some of her co-stars from Shonda Rhimes' addictive drama have shared how much being a mom has impacted Kerry in more ways than one.

"[Motherhood] has just made her more awesome than she was to begin with," Tony Goldwyn shared with E! News. "She's just so happy all the time as it does when you have a baby. It's a magical time."

Despite a few confessions here and there, fans of the actress have known for a long time that Kerry likes to keep her family life private. In addition to secretly getting married to her football stud—didn't you know he used to be a San Francisco 49ers cornerback—Kerry has made it clear that her personal life will rarely be addressed on Twitter.

"Well...I still won't talk about my personal life on here," she said last year. "But...I see your tweets. And I am filled with gratitude! XO #HappyMothersDay."

There's just one more thing to say: Congratulations Kerry and Nnamdi on your happy news!
