Sarah Jessica Parker may have hinted at another Sex and the City movie, but her former TV love John Corbett wants even more.

"I think there are a lot of stories to tell," Corbett, who played Carrie Bradshaw's furniture designer beau Aiden on the series, told me yesterday while promoting his new thriller The Boy Next Door (in theaters on Jan. 23).

Corbett says SJP should take a page from another beloved HBO series. "There's a lot of story left to tell with those women and if HBO got it together, I'd like to see the show come back for a couple of seasons like The Comeback," he said, adding, "I'd like to see them come back for, you know, eight or 10 episodes a year for a couple of more years."

Um, we are so down for that!

"We want to see them," Corbett said of SJP, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall. "Those girls are amazing actors and there are so many stories to tell even as well age and get older. You know when I started that—I'm almost 54 now—when I got that job I was 39. Time moves along. I want to see those girls as I'm into my 50s. I want to see them into my 60s."

And so do we.

In a series of mysterious tweets in October, Parker and Davis lead many to believe a third SATC flick is in the works.

Davis posted a photo of her and SJP with the message, "@SJP Miss YOU XOXOXO!!

Parker replied, "@KristinDavis Me too you! Heard the news? X"

And then left Davis us hanging with this: "@SJP Yyyeessssss…But I'm afraid to get TOO excited yet - You let me know when we can celebrate. XO."
