Solange Knowles and Rachel Roy have both attended the 2014 CFDA Awards tonight in New York City, putting them in what could be a very uncomfortable situation considering the incident that occurred nearly a month ago at the Met Gala.
However, it looks like the stars are keeping a safe distance from each other to avoid any drama.
According to an eyewitness, Solange didn't do any red carpet interviews, but Roy and Chrissy Teigen, who were doing interviews together, cut their press time early and dashed inside once Beyoncé's younger sister made her way towards them.
Solange attended the event with Francisco Costa, Calvin Klein's women's Creative Director and wore a custom Calvin Klein Collection embellished pewter silk dress. She added a pop of color by wearing a bright pink lip.
Meanwhile, Roy wore a floral number with a high slit. She paired the dress with a black blazer and pulled her dark tresses back into a tight ponytail.
Last month, elevator security footage from The Standard Hotel in NYC showing Solange getting into a physical confrontation with brother-in-law Jay Z was leaked. E! News learned that the reason behind that altercation was because the rapper got a little too close with Roy, who's the ex-wife of his business partner Damon Dash.
"At the gala, Rachel was being flirtatious with Jay," a source exclusively told E! News. "Once everyone was at the Boom Boom Room for the after-party, her flirtations were elevated."
"Beyoncé approached Rachel to let her know the behavior was disrespectful and she wanted her out of their lives for good," the source went on.
"Solange came over to have her sister's back, and things got heated with her and Rachel. Jay said some disrespectful things to Beyoncé and Solange as the confrontation was going down. That's why all hell broke loose in the elevator and why Beyoncé just stood back and let Solange hit Jay."
Although the video caused many to assume that there was some family drama going on, the Knowles-Carter family showed a united front shortly after the video leaked.
