The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star is expecting her first child with husband Michael Koman. The 35-year-old actress made the exciting announcement during a taping of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which will air tonight, according to Us Weekly, who first reported the story.
Kemper reportedly kept the pregnancy a secret while shooting the second season of her Netflix series, and only confided in show creator and gal-pal Tina Fey.
Kemper tied the knot to her writer beau in New York City back in 2012 during an intimate ceremony which was witnessed by some of their famous friends, including Kristen Wiig and Mindy Kaling.
Days before her big day, Kemper dished to E! News about her wedding plans, saying her experience as a bridesmaid on- and offscreen didn't help her one bit when it came to planning her big day.
"In real life, I've been a bridesmaid like a dozen times and after doing that movie I thought maybe I'll have some insight into wedding planning, but I took none of that insight," Kemper told E! News at the time. "I'm as, panicky, as uptight as any bride ever was."
Well, let's hope the journey to motherhood is a little less panicky. Congrats to the parents-to-be!
