It's no secret that Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan have been making headlines in recent weeks for all the changes brewing at LIVE! With Kelly and Michael.
Regardless of any behind-the-scenes drama and talk of respect in the workplace, the co-hosts still managed to pick up one impressive award at the Daytime Emmy Awards.
"Congrats @KellyRipa @michaelstrahan @KellyandMichael Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host winner!" the organization revealed on Twitter Sunday evening. "#DaytimeEmmys."
While the pair was never scheduled to attend the ceremony in Los Angeles, we do have to point out the unique timing of this special prize.
In two weeks, Michael will bid farewell to the talk-show so he can focus his talents on Good Morning America full-time. At the same time, today marks Kelly and Mark Consuelos' 20-year wedding anniversary.
As we congratulate the hosts, we're picturing what some other familiar characters in daytime think of the big news.
