The Grey's Anatomy star is about to become a mom of two as she is expecting her second child with husband Rob Giles, she confirmed to ET Thursday.
While the proud parents already know the sex of the baby, they're keeping mum about it to the public. They also have daughter Eliza together, who is now 4 years old.
The radiant actress embraced her growing baby bump on the red carpet of the Disney ABC Television TCA Summer Press Tour, where she donned a long-sleeved black knit dress with a white collar paired with metallic and black heels.
While Caterina couldn't hide her pregnancy out on the red carpet, she will have to be a bit more covert during shoots for the popular ABC drama series.
"They're definitely going to have to do some fun hiding," Scorsone told Entertainment Weekly of the show. "Super camera work and super wardrobe time." While her character Amelia recently married Owen (Kevin McKidd) on the show, she doubts her character will be expecting anytime soon.
"I think they don't want to burn through all that story," she added to the magazine. Instead, she thinks the characters' storylines will pick up where their whirlwind wedding left off. "Now they have to figure out how to be married. That's a big question for anybody, let alone two people who are deeply wounded."
