Move over, The Grinch: Grumpy Cat is getting her own Christmas special on Lifetime. The Internet star will headline Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever this holiday season from Tim Hill of Spongebob Squarepants and Rocko's Modern Life fame and Jeff Morris, Lifetime confirms to E! News.

The Hollywood Reporter originally broke the news on the TV movie.

Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever will feature a pet-store cat that is constantly overlooked and a 12-year-old girl who can communicate with Grumpy Cat. Casting for the voice of Grumpy Cat—whose real name is Tardar Sauce—is still underway. Look for cameos from other Internet memes.

Grumpy Cat shot to fame thanks to Reddit in 2012 after owner Tabatha Bundesen's brother posted a picture of the cat. The kitty has been the subject of a book and calendar and made numerous TV appearances, most recently on American Idol. Bundesen has said the cat's famous expression and petite size are likely because of feline dwarfism.

The official Grumpy Cat Facebook page has close to 6 million likes and shared the news of the Lifetime movie with this caption: This Christmas is going to be the #WorstChristmasEver.
