Now here's an honor that not too many celebs can say they've had the privilege of receiving.
U2 singer Bono is the latest star to make his mark in the animal kingdom after having a new species of spider named after him, according to the Riverside Press-Enterprise.
The report states that nearly three dozen new species of the trapdoor spider have been identified, three of them from Joshua Tree National Park, which is what tied the celeb to its name.
We'll explain.
The third species found in that location were classified as bonoi, after Bono, to honor the lead singer and U2's 1987 album The Joshua Tree, which also featured photos of the group at the National Park.
Yes, it all makes sense now.
