Kate Middleton and Prince William's royal baby isn't even born yet, and already it's found itself a loyal subject in the form of Keira Knightley.

The actress covers the March issue of Marie Claire and wasted no time in declaring her enthusiasm over the latest addition to Britain's monarchy...even if she had less than enthusiastic things to say about the monarchy itself.

"I'm over the moon about the royal baby," she said. "But I really can't mount an argument in favor of the monarchy. Is that treason? Do I have to turn in my passport?"

We think she'll be OK. (After all, if Morrissey still has his, there's clearly quite a bit of leeway involved.)

Meanwhile, Knightley also opened up a bit about her fiancé, Klaxons keyboardist James Righton. And it's safe to say we shouldn't expect the wedding of the century.

"I could have six fake weddings," she told the magazine. "God, that would be expensive. We're not really big-wedding types. I don't need to have all that."

As for what types they are, exactly? In a word: different.

"I'm not someone who listens to a lot of music. But I get wonderful perspective by being with someone who is less like me than more like me," she said of her rocker hubby-to-be.

"The way he thinks is something I don't get. We come at things from totally different angles."

And speaking of different angles...

"[The paparazzi are] not going to get a shot of me falling out of my knickers as I'm coming out of a club," Knightley declared.

So there you have it.
