While some like Kate Bosworth (with Skars!) came to hear the music, others such as Tara Reid (is anyone shocked?) just came to party!
So who partied the hardest?

Vanessa Hudgens, newly single, hit the festival scene under a wide-brimmed hat with girlfriends, enjoying the concerts from the VIP tent and making sure to hit all the afterparties.
At the Armani Exchange and 944 magazine's second annual Neon Carnival concert afterparty Saturday night, where V was spotted dancing and having fun with friends on the carnival rides, she told E! News: "I saw Arcade Fire today and they were fantastic. The music's just so much fun."
Uh, we don't think you were just there for the music, V!
Another single celeb to hit the party? Penn Badgley, who, after indulging in a slice of pizza and hanging with a group of male friends, told E! News: "I'm going to go skydiving next week and then back to filming, probably in a couple of months."
Also channeling their inner child at the Neon Carnival? Leonardo DiCaprio hiding under a baseball cap and chatting with pal Lukas Haas, Paris Hilton hitting the dance floor with BF Cy Waits, Emma Roberts standing alone trying to find her friends, Jessica Szohr avoiding the dance floor but participating in carnival games, and Rihanna walking in surrounded by a huge posse and leaving shortly after.
Ri-Ri's bestie Katy Perry didn't make it out to the carnival party, but maybe that's because she exhausted herself at the concerts.
"Katy and her friends attended a ton of the concerts and were really into the music," a source tells us. "With Russell [Brand] out of town, Katy stuck with her girls and her gays."
After catching Robyn perform Friday night, where Perry maneuvered her way through the crowds in a hat and sunglasses to a prime dancing position front and center, the popstar tweeted, "ROBYN IS THE ILLEST."
And while Whitney Port hung close to her BF Ben Nemtin in the VIP music tent, Kate Bosworth, in white shorts and a patriotic tank top, danced the day away with Alexander Skarsgård—in general admission. Gasp!
While the couples enjoyed the concerts, it was all about the single celebs at the Coachella parties.
Adrian Grenier was spotted in a cabana at the Lacoste Live pool party surrounded by bikini-clad ladies before getting up to throw a friend into the dunk tank.
Usher and his two children stayed at the Parker Hotel in Palm Springs and were seen having a family breakfast on the grounds. Is it just us or is Coachella not the most kid-friendly vacay?
Mark Salling beat the heat and stayed hydrated by sipping Hint Water at the Oasis Beach Club pool party on Sunday, after Erykah Badu gave a surprise performance.
And David Hasselhoff debuted his new platinum blonde younger girlfriend, taking her to the Robyn show, carrying her shoes and avoiding a cheeseburger stand.
