NeNe Leakes is one busy lady!

The former Bravolebrity has made her return to Broadway this year, starring as Matron Mama Morton in Broadway's Chicago for a limited four-week run at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City from Nov. 23 to Dec. 20, and she lets E! News know that hitting the stage is no piece of cake.

"I'm really excited to do this. Last year at this time, I was in Cinderella, it was my first run in Broadway. I fell in love with Broadway, I absolutely loved it. Cinderella was a fairy tale, and when Chicago came calling, I was like yes. Let's do this," she tells us while chatting at the NBC Experience Stores.

"I'm very excited to do it although the schedules are very tough. Tough schedules to be on Broadway. Broadway is no piece of cake. And every actor who knows Broadway knows…those schedules are crazy and when you get up there and those curtains open, you have to be on. So whatever it takes, you gotta be that character. So I'm excited to do it. I love acting. It's my first love. I'll be singing this time!"

Aside from her return to Broadway, Leakes is almost making a surprise comeback to the show that started it all—The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

E! News learned in late October that the reality star was going to pop in during the eighth season, by making an unannounced visit while the girls are on a trip to Jamaica, much to the surprise of her unsuspecting co-stars, according to sources close to production.

"I feel like the Housewives of Atlanta is my show. Just keepin' it real with you," Leakes tells us. "I think when you say Housewives of Atlanta, people say NeNe Leakes. Even with me not being on the show. I'll always have love for Housewives of Atlanta."

While it's all love for RHOA, the same can't exactly be said for The View. NeNe appeared as a guest on the daytime talk show yesterday, and unfortunately, it wasn't the most pleasant experience.

"I was a guest on The View, and I just felt like, honestly speaking, if you invite me to your house, have some manners and treat me nice. That's all I'm saying," she tells E! News. "I just felt those girls weren't friendly."

For more from our interview with NeNe Leakes, tune in to E! News tonight at 7 & 11 p.m.

(E! Online and Bravo are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
