Boy banders for life!

Although Lance Bass hasn't seen Justin Timberlake in quite a while—their run-in at 30 Rock on Wednesday was the first time they had seen each other since April—the two remain close friends. Lance, 36, and Justin, 34, spotted each other while they were filming The Meredith Vieira Show and The Tonight Show, respectively, and the two were able to really catch up for the first time since Justin's wife, Jessica Biel, gave birth to their son Silas in April.

"Well, I have to come all the way to NBC just to see my friends," Lance quipped to host Meredith Vieira. "Justin was in the building—he was shooting Fallon or Seth Meyers."

Lance added that his longtime friend opened up to him about how life has changed for him since becoming a dad, but Lance noticed that Justin has changed (in the best way!). "It's been five months and it's so amazing to see a friend go through this, because you know, I grew up with him since he was 14 years old," Lance dished.

"But to see this amazing dad now...all he wants to talk about is the kid."

We don't blame him! Justin brought along pictures of his adorable 5-month-old son for his appearance on Jimmy Fallon's show and gave fans a great look at how cute Silas really is!

Lance continued to gush about his former fellow 'N Sync member, and even opened up about one day becoming a father himself. "[He's] completely changed and you have to," he said of the "Mirrors" singer. "I mean I can't wait to be a dad myself just because I would love to know what that selflessness feels like."

He and husband Michael Turchin have all intentions of becoming parents, Lance told the NBC host. In fact, fatherhood was one of the main commonalities that attracted Lance to Michael in the first place!

"One of the reasons I wanted to marry him was because I want to start a family, and we definitely in the next two or three years want to start that family," he explained.

He also opened up about their plans for welcoming children into their family.

"I know people are very on the fence with IVF and all this stuff, but people have been doing it for years," he explained. "With us, of course we want to find a surrogate to have our own kids, but now I was just reading with stem cell research and all this, and that's of course up to the minute, now they are saying with the skin cells of a male you can actually produce an egg and fertilize [it], so you can have biological kids with two males."

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
