Amid all of his success, Bradley Cooper had to thank the special woman who saw him through his hard work.

The A Star Is Born director and actor took home his first British Academy Film Award at the ceremony in London on Sunday night for "Original Music," an honor he shared with co-star Lady Gaga and one of the album's producers, Lukas Nelson. Later, Gaga accepted a Grammy Award in Los Angeles for herself and Cooper for "Best Pop Duo or Group Performance."

Taking the stage, the first-time singer took in the special moment. "I got to fulfill a dream I never thought would happen," he reportedly said during his acceptance speech, via The Daily Mail. "I share this with Lady Gaga tonight. The music was the heartbeat of this film."

Before he was finished with his BAFTA acceptance speech, his attention reportedly turned to his famous partner and the mother of his daughter, supermodel Irina Shayk. While the two lead a very private life together, the star surprisingly addressed his girlfriend with gratitude after working on the film for years.

"I also need to thank Irina for putting up with me while I was trying to make music in our basement for a year," he said. The 33-year-old fashion star attended the event with Cooper and the two coordinated in black tuxedo looks.

It was yet another glamorous date night for the A-list pair, who have been dating since 2015 and are parents to 1-year-old daughter Lea, who will celebrate a birthday next month.

But, as Shayk made clear in a recent interview with Glamour U.K., don't expect this pair to start revealing more about their life behind the scenes.

"I have a lot of friends who share a lot of their personal life on Instagram or social media, very publicly. I admire it and I think it's great—but I think it's all about personal choice. Because my work requires me to be out there, I just decided my personal life will be quiet," she told the magazine. "That's why it's called personal, because it's something for you and your family, and I feel happy with it."
